We are a very well established business with an excellent track record
in the double glazing industry. We have a strong reputation for supplying
and installing high quality products at competitive prices, backed by
a first class service.
We manufacture double glazing systems for a wide variety of applications.
All installations undertaken by H&P are completed by our own skilled craftsmen.
In addition to installation work a growing aspect of our business is the
supply of manufactured systems to builders and installation contractors.
Says managing director Hitesh Bhudia:
“ Over the last 20 years we have seen a number of
companies come and go in this industry. Whilst our business has grown,
we believe that this has happened because our attitude has never changed.
We have a clear idea of what our customers need and we supply exactly
that. We have developed our organisation to help us to do this better,
rather than loose touch with customer needs. Given the very high level
of repeat and referral business, we hope we are getting it right.”
Our commitment to quality is demonstrated by our association with two
highly respected initiatives:
ISO 9002
Our business has been accredited to ISO 9002 status since 1999. This
accreditation gives our customers peace of mind, in the knowledge that
our operation is under constant voluntary review from the perspective
of consistent quality standards. We also use our ISO 9002 quality system
as a vehicle to promote a culture of continuous improvement in our business.
FENSA
This Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme has been set up to help compliance
with strict new Building Regulations for domestic properties. The purpose
is to ensure higher standards of work and product specification. All new
domestic glazing must comply with strict thermal performance standards
and when a house is sold, the purchaser’s solicitor will ask for details
if any replacement glazing installed after April 2002. Proof is required
that any such installation complies with the regulations. This is done
in one of two ways:
- A certificate from the local authority.
- A certificate showing that the work has been conducted by a FENSA
registered installer.
H&P were one of the earliest businesses to register. Our work is inspected
by FENSA inspectors and it is a condition of registration that the work
done is covered by warranty.
For details of how the new regulations can affect the value of your
home, please see FENSA page.
